You still need to pass the window->offset here to be able to compute the addresses correctly. Lets say you have two instances of your IP. Second bridge will have IO mapped at cpu_address_B, but the logical port addresses (i.e. res->start) will be non-zero (lets say they will be offsetted by 0x1000 that has been allocated to the first bridge). After the parsing of ranges for an IO range like 0x0 .. 0x1000 -> cpu_address_B the results will be: res->start = 0x1000 res->end = 0x1fff window->offset = 0x1000; io_base = cpu_address_B; so pcibios_resource_to_bus() for this resource will return the correct region: region->start = 0; region->end = 0x0fff; but your math will give: cpu_addr = cpu_address_B; pci_addr = 0x1000; so the outbound setup won't be able to translate correctly. This patch adds the AppliedMicro X-Gene SOC PCIe host controller driver. X-Gene PCIe controller supports maximum up to 8 lanes and GEN3 speed. X-Gene SOC supports maximum 5 PCIe ports.
