This patch adds initial SPI driver support for the DaVinci
series of SOC's.

Signed-off-by: Sandeep Paulraj <s-paulraj@ti.com>

Thanks to David Brownell for all his suggestions/ refinements which
we were in the form of patches.
This initial support does not have support for multiple chipselects nor
does it have EDMA support.

It seems that I'll have to touch the issue of missing signoffs (and
copyrights) once again. The code to support DA8xx version of SPI controller
was added by MontaVista, specifically by Mark Greer, so his signoff should
be here as well:

Signed-off-by: Mark A. Greer <mgreer@mvista.com>

Moreover, it seems to include a duplex mode fix by John Philby, so ihs
signoff wouldn't hurt too:

Signed-off-by: Philby John <pjohn@in.mvista.com>

Why waste 4 bytes on mostly 1-bit fields? :-/

Strange, the original davinci_spi_master.c, from which this driver is
obviously derived, had 2006 copyright.
Although Mark didn't add MV copyright, perhaps it's time to add it now:

Specifically, this fragment was added by Mark:

    And this function too:

This was added by John Philby:

The IRQ handler was also modified by Mark.

And the probe()/remove() methods too were hevily modified...

If this is used only by the driver, why not just incorporate it there?

Can you sort out any differences between this and the
patch I just sent?

[Sandeep] We have discussed this very issue on the mailing list. Kevin and Dave both are Ok with having a separat header file for DaVinci SPI. Both styles are accepted. Either have a standalone header fine or have all the stuff in the driver itself
