They will remain there for a few days to give others a chance to review. After that, I will provide a thorough review and move them into for-next for 4.3 They do pass all my preliminary tests, checkpatch, build, and ninja-check. To clarify, the newer models didn't work at all previously, so this is not changing the user:kernel interface, but rather enabling it on newer machines, and programs wishing to take advantage of that can do so with minimal change. Correct?

Yes, the only real (or new) change here is the introduction of the IOCTL "TOSHIBA_ACPI_SCI", which was added to circumvent buggy or "incomplete" BIOSes found (so far) on TOS1900 devices.
