The MPU3050 driver in the input subsystem has been superceded
by a proper IIO driver found in drivers/iio/gyro/mpu3050*.

Patches have been submitted to remove all defconfig and related
references to the old driver and replace this input driver
with the IIO driver. commit 634b847b6d23
("x86/platform/intel-mid: Switch MPU3050 driver to IIO")
is already upstream.

So delete the input driver. Input was never a good fit for
sensors anyway.

Dmitry can we just kill this driver? Noone seems to object and I
got an ACK from Heikki as you can see.

OK, since nobody yelled that they need it I applied the patch.

Thanks!

We need to think about the future of these misc input drivers:

misc/bma150.c
misc/cma3000*
misc/mma8450.c

The first has a partial (or maybe complete) support in
iio/accel/bma180.c and the last seems to be possible to be
supported by iio/accel/mma8452.c with some slight adjustments.

It's not only because I have OCD and want to sort every driver
in the right pigeon-hole... the iio-sensor-proxy GNOME daemon
bugzilla/github has been spamming me with complaints about
problems caused by the accelerometer-as-input drivers.
It would be nice to at least compartmentalize the problems
into one subsystem. Terminating misc/bma150.c has been
mentioned.

I we have replacements in drivers/iio I'd be happy to cut these out of
drivers/input.

Thanks.
