I took another look at that and realised it really is a mask of two one bit fields, so perhaps fair enough to do it this way. Applied to the togreg branch of iio.git and pushed out as testing for the autobuilders to play with it. I'm not going to take patches 7 and 8 as they stand so that's it for this series.
