At this point I am not convinced that all readers are interesting which flag does what. Maybe just saying that you are intending to use the clock scaling mechanism to set WB on/off, Which is, IMHO, an excellent design choice. Also here is a good place to explain that although it is not lun-specific and will turn WB on for reads as well, It is a second order miss and has negligible impact of the overall performance.
