I was under impression that you are adding first "bool" variable to the ib_cq struct. Having u8 a:1, b:1 notation allows us to save memory without sacrificing "boolean" nature of the "a" and "b". We will use one byte of the space for eight booleans, instead of 8 bytes if we chose to use "bool" in the struct. Thanks
