Commit Message

Enzo Matsumiya Oct. 14, 2021, 10:18 p.m. UTC
This commit changes the default file name for the users database from
/etc/ksmbd/ksmbdpwd.db to /etc/ksmbd/users.db, which is more reasonable
and makes more sense for end users.

A mechanism to support the old path was created as well
(check_old_db()). Code should be self-explanatory.

Also rename some variables and functions that dealt with this file.

Signed-off-by: Enzo Matsumiya <ematsumiya@suse.de>
---

Changes to v1:
  - Introduce check_old_db() as a mechanism to verify the possibility of
  using the old default database instead of the new one.

In my opinion, We need to check old db path when it is not PATH given
by the user.
Users may want to use old db path using option. Let me know your thought.

if (!tmpdb) {
      tmpdb = g_strdup(PATH_USERS_DB);
      check_old_db(tmpdb);
