I didn't see a `drm_connector_attach_edid_property` call in this series. Did you forget this? Virtual connectors don't have this property by default. Ian,

Or maybe I will add something in VKMS configuration to use "empty edid", "default modes_noedid" or "custom_edid". This way you will be able to test all the scenarios for your userspace.
