You may get further e-mails resulting from automated or manual testing and review of the tree, please engage with people reporting problems and send followup patches addressing any issues that are reported if needed. If any updates are required or you are submitting further changes they should be sent as incremental updates against current git, existing patches will not be replaced. Please add any relevant lists and maintainers to the CCs when replying to this mail. Thanks, Mark From 8679284b37e9e2d529d60d1acc4133af4aa5dd34 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Pierre-Louis Bossart Date: Thu, 1 Nov 2018 16:34:48 -0500 Subject: [PATCH] ASoC: acpi: define common interface for machine driver configuration The machine drivers may need information provided by the platform driver. Currently the information is passed using pdata specific to each plaform driver. This prevents other drivers, such as SOF, from reusing machine drivers directly. Add a new structure which contains the required fields. This proposal requires a bit more work on the platform side but this generic interface helps reuse code directly.
