Our code is always setting MPATH_UNCHANGED and DM_ACTIVATION in
pairs. While DM_ACTIVATION is a global DM property, MPATH_UNCHANGED
is owned by us. Just set MPATH_UNCHANGED, and adapt DM_ACTIVATION
when necessary just in one place.
