On the second build we get the contents from the cache and the warning disappears. I've tried debugging it further but did not get anywhere with that. I cannot reproduce this issue. With Linaro 4.9 compiler, I got "Detected assembler with broken .inst", which is I think expected behavior. With Linaro 7.2 compiler, I did not get the warning, which is also I think expected behavior. $ make clean CLEAN .
