I pulled your cpu-hp-cleanup branch from git://linux-arm.org/linux-qy and compiled a 32- and a 64-bit parisc kernel. I faced one compile warning: linux-2.6/kernel/cpu.c: In function ‘hibernation_bringup_sleep_cpu’: linux-2.6/kernel/cpu.c:1237:1: warning: control reaches end of non-void function [-Wreturn-type] Other than that the 32- and 64-bit SMP kernel booted nicely.
