Good point, I can indeed switch to i2c_smbus_read_block_data() having it interpret the first read byte as len and drop the len field from the struct definitions. But this is not about converting from millis this is about going from milles to micros. Writing MILLI there is multiplying millis by milles_per_1 which feels wrong. Now if there was a MILLIS_PER_MICRO that would make sense.
