A different dependency should be noted in *this* patch. If you already ran 'make dt_binding_check' and didn't see the above error(s), then make sure 'yamllint' is installed and dt-schema is up to date: pip3 install dtschema --upgrade Please check and re-submit after running the above command yourself. Note that DT_SCHEMA_FILES can be set to your schema file to speed up checking your schema. However, it must be unset to test all examples with your schema.

I'll fix it. I'm a bit surprised though, all unit-suffixed properties use 32-bit integers in the DT schema, while I can imagine that some may need a 64-bit integer. What's the recommendation in that case ? > doc reference errors (make refcheckdocs): > > See https://patchwork.ozlabs.org/project/devicetree-bindings/patch/20221214233825.13050-3-laurent.pinchart+renesas@ideasonboard.com > > The base for the series is generally the latest rc1. What's the recommendation in that case ? Use -mhz. Anything outside the norm we have to special case in property-units.yaml. Rob

If I ever run into the need of a 64-bit Hz value to have both range and precision, we'll talk about it then :-) I don't expect that to be very common. > Anything outside the norm we have to special case in > property-units.yaml.
