So CC > Oleksii. Hmm, that's on the edge, I think. Imo an ack shouldn't be needed here, as requiring one would mean that it could also be refused. Yet such updates would better go in quickly, so people use up-to-date information. I'm sure committers would apply common sense as to avoiding to commit at truly "critical" times; typically at such time a commit moratorium is in place anyway. Jan
